Mel is a mum of 3 and qualified sling consultant with over 12 years supporting new and expectant parents on their parenting journey. She runs Wrap a Hug sling library east London and offers sling library sessions and parent support groups over Tower Hamlets and Hackney. Her sling library offers a wide range of slings and carriers that can be tried on and hired and she and her team offer fit checks, expert advice and safety information.
They cover all babywearing needs from carrying premature babies, twins, carrying babies and children with complex needs, supporting parents with different types of mobilities and needs, helping find the right sling, learning new positioning or teaching how to feed in slings, they have you covered!
The sling library is a friendly and inclusive space for all families. She also runs the Tower Hamlets Family Meet-up which is a monthly meet-up and support group for new and expectant parents with perinatal support. Mel has a real passion for supporting parents and has helped thousands of families over the years. Come and see her and the team to chat all things babywearing and try some slings on!
