Founded in 2015 by local hockey veterans Shuhel Malique and Abdul Wahid, Tower Hamlets Hockey Club is a proudly community-driven club breaking barriers in one of London’s most diverse and poor boroughs. Now chaired by Abul Kalam and Kadirul Kibria. The club offers hockey opportunities for all ages and backgrounds — from juniors to adults, beginners to champions.
Since we started, we have had five successive promotions and won six titles. Tower Hamlets Hockey Club have also made two England Hockey Tier 4 National Cup Finals, winning one in 2023.
In 2023, Tower Hamlets Hockey Club received the Team of the Year award, which was a great honour and a testament to the achievements made by the club and players.
